X Factor 2016: Honey G's family are mortified by her antics

Considering
the favourable attention Honey G’s mum gets every week on The X Factor,
you’d be forgiven for assuming that the aspiring rapper’s family are
completely behind the X Factor hopeful.
However,
an anonymous relative has opened up about the humiliation 35-year-old
Honey G’s antics have brought upon the family as they admitted that it’s
“painful” to watch her week after week.
And, to be fair, we’d probably feel the same way if she was our relative too.
Honey
G, real name Anna Guildford, has sparked controversy during her stint
on the ITV talent show, with viewers arguing that she is being favoured
by producers despite being a novelty act - and her family are getting
fed-up of watching her be mocked in front of millions of people.
Speaking
to the Daily Star, the relative explained: “To the nation Honey G is
funny to watch but to her family it’s embarrassing.
"She has always lived in the shadow of her sister and finally this is her time to get attention - but it’s painful to watch.
"Anna is a very sensitive soul and to watch her being mocked by the nation is upsetting.”
Simon
Cowell praised Honey G following her Saturday night performance of
Vanilla Ice’s ‘Ice Ice Baby’ and Queen’s 'Under Pressure’, telling the
hopeful: “Because of your enthusiasm and your love for what you’re
doing, you’re turning this around.”
And although viewers love to moan about her, she’s obviously doing
something right as she is so far breezing her way through the
competition - we’re just wondering how much longer she will last.
