The First Days of Animated Film of Algiers "DjazAnim,” an event devoted to the Algerian production in this field, opened Thursday at the Palace of Culture Moufdi Zakaria.
Organized by the producers "Real Dream Digital" and “El Buraq” studio with the collaboration of the Algerian Centre of the Development of Cinema (CADC), "DjazAnim" will be marked by the organization of training workshops and the screening of a series of animated films.
Attending the opening ceremony, Minister of Culture Azzedine Mihoubi welcomed the initiative of these producers who have worked for several years with their own means, while “encouraging” them to produce an Algerian work inspired by the history of Algeria.
The Minister of Culture also called to organize this kind of events in other regions of the country and “elaborate a festival project devoted to animated films.”
